OUR STORY

After so many good times and great adventures, it's time for us to say goodbye to our home for five of the last nine years.  We have entrusted this beautiful boat with our lives and she has proven over and over that we made the right choice when we first saw her in Sausalito.

Seasilk is equipped to be sailed single-handed, but is perfect for 2 couples or a family of 4. With a fully enclosed cockpit, she is equipped for both cold and warm weather sailing and is very comfortable as a live-aboard. This makes her the perfect choice for a family whose plans will evolve.

The blue-ocean-voyager Seasilk has conveyed us safely from San Francisco to San Diego and several trips to Catalina.  She has weathered the high winds of South San Francisco and one hurricane with grace, and she has provided us with two wonderful cruising vacations of 6 and 9 months to the far reaches of the Mexican west coast.  We've had so many friends enjoy her spacious accommodations and sailing style.  With the help of many of those friends, she won us the coveted Ward Cleveland Memorial award at Opening Day 2009 in San Francisco. She has also won a couple of races including her division in the 2010 Baja Ha Ha, but we don't often race our house.  We hope her next owner will enjoy her even half as much as we have.
